The project site is located southwest of Xitou Town, characterized by natural mountainous terrain with significant slopes and complex topography. The southwest side of the plot is adjacent to an ancient village, while the southeast offers views of distant mountains, combining both natural and cultural landscapes. The design emphasizes blending the architecture subtly into the natural environment. To achieve this, the hotel functions have been divided and dispersed, transforming a single large building into multiple smaller structures arranged along the contour lines. Building height and elevation are carefully controlled to ensure the rooftops stay below the ridgeline, demonstrating respect for the natural landscape.

Given the complex site conditions, we aim to minimize impact on the existing terrain by preserving natural landforms and reducing earthworks. This approach involves customized designs for each terrain type, creating diverse clusters of buildings and offering a variety of natural spatial experiences.
