Post Coffee is a coffee time box designed for China Post to show the memory of Beijing post history. With the increasing amount of information exchange channels, the post office is gradually marginalized in the new Internet society. We want to allow the concept of the post office to gain new life by combining it with new media through spatial design. The post coffee project discusses and responds to two themes: one is urban renewal, and the other is the new media effect of social media.

Located in Wangjing Street, a popular commercial area, we want to create a space full of memories of the past in a commercial environment that lacks characteristics. Arch coupons, terrazzo, wooden doors and windows, counters, lights... Inspired by the materials and spatial elements of the old post office, it re-evokes people's memory of the postal service in Beijing in the past.

The accentuated lime green tone of the post, as well as the design of windows and bicycles, together form a dialogue with new ways of information consumption and dissemination. We hope to use the digital space of information circulation and symbolic design to reflect the internet lifestyle. We imagine the interactions that take place between people and space behind camera lens when we considered color selection and designs.
