The project site is close to the Yellow Sea on the east and Ludao Lake on the west. The Children's Palace in between is not only a public building, but also weaves urban fragments. A Trestle Park linking the Yellow Sea and Ludao Lake was born. And the Children's Palace is one part of the park. The Trestle Park connects the sea and the lake, integrates the urban blocks cut by roads, as well as provides a relax space for citizens to enjoy.

In the part that passes through the Children's Palace, the Trestle Park expands into a public space connecting various functional groups. Public space not only provides the function of circulation, but also provides a place for rest, communication and interaction. Functional groups are like six ships, docked beside the Trestle Park.

The outdoor plaza of the Children's Palace employs water ripples as a design element, which radiates from the building to the surroundings, and contains different public elements, such as pools, sculptures, climbing, and roller skating. Finally, the city, architecture, and landscape blend into each other to form a vibrant coastal space.
