"FW JI" conveys a concept of space and time. Fengwu refers to a specific place and memory, grounded in local practices and sustained cultivation. Ji represents the flowing seasons and time, connecting villages and the land, embodying the ever-changing nature and the continuous expansion of new possibilities in rural areas. Starting from the specific place of Fengwu Village, the design aims to activate numerous possibilities in the countryside.

In the first season of Fengwu, with the theme of spatial creation, three distinct types of public spaces in Fengwu Village were selected. These spaces are representative of the diverse public areas within the village. Through four weeks of online design and one week of offline construction, the project leveraged the characteristics of urban-rural collaboration and community participation to activate rural spaces. Before the start of the construction, online and offline seminars were held, bringing together experts in various fields of rural revitalization, along with local residents, to explore pathways for rural development.

The project adopted a "co-creation x implementation" model. Co-creation, supported by the foundation, involved collaborative efforts to achieve urban-rural integration and community participation. Domain experts and professionals were invited as mentors to guide young practitioners in the practical implementation of projects to enhance village life. The implementation phase, supported by the government, focused on improving the quality of life in villages through acupuncture-like interventions in public spaces, visual branding, artistic infrastructure development, cultural empowerment through surrounding creative products, thematic exhibitions, and visual displays in the village.
