The project is located in the core area of Fengwu Village, in the old alley that serves daily transportation and acts as the "outdoor living room" for the villagers. According to the recollections of the elderly, there used to be a covered alley of over a hundred meters, allowing people to walk without getting their shoes wet on rainy days. We hope that, based on local traditions and incorporating contemporary life needs and technological advancements, the new covered alley will become part of the collective memory of the future.

The design of the "Huizhou Corridor" starts with fully respecting and preserving the old buildings, detaching from the old walls on both sides and independently supporting its own weight. Structural materials use factory prefabricated engineered wood (CLT). The roof is made of transparent corrugated polyester panels to meet the lighting requirements. Simultaneously, taking advantage of the irregular triangular spaces within the alley, landscape seats are set up to provide residents with more comfortable places for relaxation and conversation.
